Regarding the Saturday letter, “Gregoire responsible for financial fiasco”: Sounds like a another Rossi talking point.
Election’s over, move on. The state’s budget woes are the result of our national economic and non-regulatory policies of the last 8-30 years. I love math, it never lies.
We do, or at this point, did, have a budget surplus. One of only a handful of states that could claim such. So, let’s learn the facts before we assign the blame, eh?
I do agree with his last line though, “Please voters, wake up.“ Oh, and read a book once in awhile. Economics is fascinating.
