Recently I started out the day in a really bad mood. One of my chores for the day was to get my car inspected and then to go to the Department of Licensing to pay the registration – not a chore I looked forward to, but one we all have to take care of. I went to the vehicle inspection station on in south Everett and the people there were so nice and so much fun. Who would have thought that? After my car passed, I drove over to the DOL on Evergreen (next to the driver’s licensing office) and the woman that helped me couldn’t have been nicer!
I started out the day feeling really lousy, and now I’m in a great mood just because I was fortunate enough to have dealings with these nice people. You know, every day we read bad news or we read about people complaining about some perceived injustice or another. How about a thank you instead? So, to you nice people at the vehicle inspection station and the nice woman at the DOL, thank you for improving my day!
