Bad words have no place in the paper

I must say I was completely appalled while reading Friday’s Herald. On the back page of Section A, there was a large ad for Mt. Pilchuck Ski &Sport’s “GARAGE SALE &Big A— TENT SALE.”

While this not only offended me, it concerns me that The Herald is placed in schools throughout Snohomish County as part of the Newspapers in Education program. I am horrifed as a parent to think that my elementary age children could read this filth while doing a class assignment that involves reading the newspaper.

Shame on you, Mt. Pilchuck Ski &Sport, for writing an ad like this. And shame on The Herald for printing such garbage.
