Now that the politicians of Washington state on both sides want to ban flavored electronic cigarettes, I felt compelled to write a letter on why this is absolutely ridiculous. Flavored cigars and menthol cigarettes have been on the market for years, so why haven’t they tried to implement a ban on them?
Any argument that this will stop kids from vaping or quit holds no merit with me. Kids have always found a way to obtain products that they are not old enough to purchase, and that will never change. Also, I know many people who are former cigarette smokers who went to vaping and flavored vaping to quit the cigarette habit. I would make an argument that a high percentage of those people will go back to cigarette smoking if this ban is enacted.
Enough and enough, and I sure am tired of politicians on both sides of the aisle deciding what we can buy and use in our lives.
