Thanks to the many people, businesses and community members who helped make the April 19 Khloe Garton benefit a success. This fun filled evening, plus additional community donations brought in over $14,000 for Khloe. Our family would like to thank the many people who made this event a success. The comedians who donated their time: Joe Vespaziani, Scott Meyer, Vince Valenzula, Amy Alpine, Brad Upton, David Wright, Mike Cap and Pam Mann.
We would like to thank businesses from Everett for their contributions: Costco, QFC, Pave Bakery, Scuttlebutt Brewery, special donations from the group out at Boeing and J. Matheson Gifts for selling tickets. Thanks also to the VFW for donating the use of their building for the event and the many people who donated items for the auction.
A special thank you to Kate Reardon at The Herald who did a fantastic job telling Khloe’s story (The Herald, April 16, “Girl fighting cancer with spirit”). Khloe is an amazing little 2-year-old whose spirit will not be broken. She is happy and always upbeat regardless of the situation. Her joy and exuberance for life is an inspiration to all of us around her.
We thank our community, which continually supports and cares for our family and Khloe. Thanks to those of you who came to the benefit and for the donations that were made at Frontier Bank. You all have made a world of difference for Khloe and our family.
Thank you.
