You can believe Mitt Romney. Believe him when he says he doesn’t want to raise any taxes on the wealthy so they can once again pay a fair share. Believe him when he says he doesn’t think that firemen, policemen, teachers are important except as a drag on the economy and need to be cut back.
Believe him when he says he won’t tell you everything he plans to do as president because then you wouldn’t vote for him. (Heh-heh). Believe him when he says he endorses the Ryan budget that attacks the core of our social and economic safety nets. You can believe him when he says he wants to go back to the policies of George Bush that put the economy in the toilet and led to the worst deficits in history. But what you can’t believe is that he is one of the job-creators, regardless of how little he pays in taxes. That will take serious investment by both the public and private sectors. And he doesn’t really believe in that — believe me!
