I drive a school bus for the Mukilteo School District. My route includes Mukilteo Boulevard, Glenwood Avenue and Merrill Creek Parkwy. If you are a bike rider, please remember that you are to follow the basic rules of the road, which includes stopping for school buses when they are in the process of loading and unloading.
There are a couple of gentlemen that I pass daily on their bikes. These gentlemen don’t seem to be able to comprehend the road rules, as they quite frequently drive right through my line of students who are boarding or getting off my school bus. This is very dangerous to my students and to the bike rider.
Please stop for the school bus when its red lights are flashing!
