Down the hatch: With about 30,000 spectators cheering them on, 30 people competed Friday in the 99th annual Nathan’s Famous Fourth of July Hot Dog Eating Contest on Coney Island, New York (Page A6).
The winner scarfed down nearly six dozen hot dogs, or just a few more than your brother in law ate before he excused himself and disappeared in the bathroom for the rest of the party.
Killer BOB deal: An Everett home that was a filming location for David Lynch’s 1990-91 TV series “Twin Peaks” is on the real estate market, and you can tour Laura Palmer’s bedroom during an open house Sunday (Page A1).
