I prefer to read my local Everett paper, but do catch glimpses of Seattle papers while at work. How does The Herald prioritize stories? Friday’s front page story about cholesterol levels hardly seems more important than Benazir Bhutto being assassinated (page A3).
The front page of the local section covers a snowstorm that wasn’t — hardly seems more newsworthy than a Carnation couple confessing to murdering an entire family! (page B6.)
I like the local flair of The Herald, but I want headline news on the front pages.
