We are bombarded daily about Black Lives Matter and how oppressive America is to Black and Brown citizens. This may be true, but it’s not what you may think. It has everything to do with the large cities that keep constant pressure on Black families by keeping the inner city stagnant with the worst public schools and most dangerous neighborhoods.
The public assistance programs are geared toward single-parent families in which causes the basic nuclear family to fail. These families of color are so disrespected that they are given the barest levels of subsistence, yet no training or pathways out of their bare existence. They are so disrespected that the political leaders do not think that these families can obtain proper ID to safely and properly vote. These families are so disrespected the political leaders think that if real opportunities were allowed in the big cities the Black and Brown citizens in the inner cities would discover the politicians are the real problem.
