Regarding the Aug. 3 Herald story, “Hilinski’s Hope: Mother who lost QB son brings mission here,” it reports of a nonprofit set up to “erase the stigma surrounding mental illness.”
A thought to keep in mind: If I say there is a stigma to mental illnesses and someone dies rather than seek help, I am not to blame. It is a common statement, I am merely taking part in it.
