Board poured salt in an open wound

The Marysville School Board’s recent extension of Superintendent Linda Whitehead’s contract was a spiteful, vindictive betrayal of the board members’ office and the community. This clearly illustrates their lack of commitment to serving the students, parents, teachers and taxpayers (and voters) of the district. Instead of using a moment in time to generate some good will and healing, it was used as an opportunity to pour salt into an open wound. I sincerely wish I could say I was surprised by their move, but, no… just further disappointed in this group’s bullying behavior.
