It was an honor to be a guest of Mountain Loop Books and Coffee at the second annual Darrington Day this year. As an author, especially an independent, opportunities for book signings are sometimes difficult to get. The owners, Tony and Amy Gobroski, acknowledge local artists and promote them at their store.
Martha Rasmussen, the organizer of Darrington Day, once again made the day successful and fun; small towns would only be so lucky to have a person like her in their community.
I shared the day with fellow author, Aaron Young. His book, “The Definitive Guide to Waterfalls of the Mountain Loop Highway,” is a great fit with my fiction, “The Boy From Granite Falls” series.
Thank you to everyone involved. It was a wonderful experience — again — and I look forward to next year!
