If we all think traffic is bad now, just imagine if there was a huge Wal-Mart in Stanwood! We have those monster stores close enough as it is. That kind of development is totally contradictory to what Stanwood is planning to do with respect to preserving the pioneer history and the quaintness of the town – a very special place.
