I want to thank The Herald for its balanced and realistic endorsements of both John Lovick and David Schmidt for the two positions in the 44th District for state representative (“Schmidt, Lovick model bipartisan work in 44th,” Oct. 13). I think both these fine politicians make great team members and because of this the 44th District voters are the winners.
Lovick’s and Schmidt’s ability to work together, even though these men are on different sides of the political aisle, shows that by cooperation and negotiation positive things can get accomplished. Thank goodness that not only the voters recognize this, but also our major Snohomish County newspaper does, too.
A vote for John Lovick and David Schmidt is a vote for Snohomish County.
