But does it sting? Researchers at Harvard and the California Institute of Technology have created an artificial jellyfish that swims on its own. The jellyfish was fashioned from cultured rat heart muscle and silicone.
In addition to allowing scientists to study the secrets of how the invertebrates move through the water, the rat-heart-and-silicone jellyfish is already being touted as the next big food item to be deep fried and sold on a stick at state fairs this summer.

Coulda knocked me over with a feather: A boy suffered minor injuries to his face and neck when he was struck by a bird while riding a roller coaster that reaches speeds of 128 mph at a New Jersey amusement park.
The boy was taken to the hospital for treatment, and the bird said it was seeing stars and little boys circling its head.
