There is too much glass on the ground in the Silver Lake area. I feel that it is not safe to ride bikes or maybe even not safe enough to drive because of all the glass on the ground around there. The other day I had to widely skirt an area, for there was so much glass on the ground. I feared that I would get a flat tire. I think that the cause of all this glass is beer, wine and other glass bottles.
I would appreciate it if you would put an article in The Herald asking people to not leave broken glass all over the place. If people have glass, they should put it in the recycling, if there is one nearby, or if there isn’t, in the garbage.
I am a fourth grader at View Ridge Elementary in Everett.
