Bryan Hunt experienced and professional

I’m writing this letter to announce that The Granite Falls Professional Firefighters Association, I.A.F.F. Local 3916 is supporting candidate Bryan Hunt for the position of Fire Commissioner of Snohomish County Fire District 17. Bryan has deep roots in the Granite Falls community where he lives with his wife and two children. Bryan is also very active in the Granite Falls Little League where he volunteers as an umpire.

Bryan Hunt brings with him 12 years of experience as a full time firefighter and is currently working in the position of Firefighter Captain for the City of Monroe Fire Department. Bryan also has been serving as a reserve Coast Guardsman for the past 20 years and currently holds the rank of Quarter Master First Class. Bryan would like to use his extensive fire and military experience to help guide Snohomish County Fire District 17 into the future, making sure that we get the best prepared, best trained, and best equipped fire department for every dollar of tax money that we pay.

Bryan has also expressed the desire to have our local firefighters become more involved in community education, working in our schools teaching fire safety and emergency medical awareness to our children. Bryan has recently been called up for active duty with the Coast Guard due to the tragedy of Sept. 11. His friends and family are working together to assure that this campaign is successful while he is away.
