Once again the Snohomish City Council has chosen the path of least resistance. Instead of fighting for a vibrant event, driven to boost our sagging city economy, they accept status quo.
The Classic Motorcycle Show, the largest single-revenue day of the 365 on the calendar, has chosen to hit the more forward-thinking streets in Everett, with a supportive City Council behind the show. As a replacement for the Motorcycle Show, the city of Snohomish is holding a four-block garage sale.
So now the merchants of Snohomish’s Historic District get a live version of Craigslist. Whoooopeeeee!
