Like most people, I am sick of seeing the literally hundreds of political signs littering our streets. Most have been up since at least June, and when I inquired with Marysville city code enforcement, Doug Lee responded they can remain until seven days after the November election! What’s up with that? Some of the larger ones are about 8-feet across and held up by multiple two-by-fours.
I responded to him, “Do you mean to say that they will be cluttering up our streets for half a year? Nate Nehring and others may be very nice people, but I’m already sick and tired of seeing their names everywhere!”
Why must they pollute the city they aspire to serve? No response yet.
Signs for the primary should be required to be removed seven days after the primary. not six months later!
