In a nation where I thought every vote counted, I am very sad and disappointed that George W. Bush has in effect stolen this election. My friends in Canada all say the same thing. There is a big conflict of interest when all the recounts were in a state which is governed by Bush’s brother and the secretary of state was the campaign manager for George Bush.
I really am sad and ashamed to call myself an American and if there were a way for me to leave this country, I would do it in a heartbeat!
Well, in four years, when the Democrats are cleaning up after the mess G.W. Bush will make, I hope we all remember this and will not let the Republicans steal another election!
