Candidates should go back to the basics

I can’t help but wonder what our youth learned from all the bickering in the recent race for government positions. I know the last of the week has been wonderful now that we are free of it. Before another election, I hope we have some regulations that will do away with rude remarks back and forth. What a waste of time and money!

Just tell us what you want to do for the people of our country – that is all we need to hear. I think people in these positions would have something better to offer us. What a relief it is over for awhile!
