Oh no! I just realized that on my absentee ballot I used a red pen even though the instructions clearly state that I should use a black pen or No. 2 pencil! This is too confusing, my rights have been violated! I demand another election in Washington!
The Florida ballot in question had been printed in the newspaper months beforehand. Officials had months to decide that it was too confusing. It is wrong to complain just because you don’t like the outcome. The time to complain and want to make changes was before a single vote was ever cast. If Florida gets to vote again, then the entire country must vote again. If not, it would change the entire dynamic of this election. There would be people voting that didn’t vote the first time and people that originally voted for Nader switching over to Gore.
The fate of the most powerful country in the world should not rest on the shoulders of the state of Florida, where apparently many people cannot follow directions.
