I read with dismay Dwayne Lane’s solution to his new car lot flooding at Island Crossing. He is going to raise the ground level so his cars stay dry, giving no consideration to the fact that his “lot” will act like a dam in the area, seriously flooding all adjoining properties and businesses.
The rising flood water has to go somewhere. The current businesses and I-5 at this low point will be impacted and/or closed due to Lane’s building decisions.
If I were a business owner at Island Crossing, I would certainly be concerned that another business would show such a blatant disregard for our welfare.
