I wanted to say thank you to the people who talked to my daughter about the horse she was taking care of. They found out he was dropped off in a nearby field sometime on New Year’s Eve, in the freezing cold and snow. They took the time to understand we have been feeding this horse for two weeks and donated $25 to his care. Some neighbors in our area are willing to donate also. The owner of the pasture is willing to let him stay. Their random acts of kindness will not be forgotten!
Now, to the person who left the disgusting note on the door of the pasture owner, asking him “what kind of a person are you? How could you leave a horse out in a field without shelter in this weather?”… You did not sign your name, you only judged a person wrongly. My question to you is, “Where is your $25 to help pay for this horse for one week?” My challenge to you is: Put your money where your mouth is and then you can gain some respect back.
A little kindness and understanding goes a long way to brighten the world.
To the strangers who so generously helped, thank you for being who you are!
