There is no real need for the city of Everett to give $250,000 of the taxpayers’ money to a California-based consulting firm in an effort to solve the city’s “image problem”!
The solution to this problem is very simple – and it won’t cost a dime! Everett has a sound that grates on your ear! A reversion to the name Port Gardner Bay would remove this and give the city “a new image” immediately!
I have lived in Washington for 26 years and have been an Everett resident for almost six! I’ve never liked the sound of the name! This simple change would create a “pleasant sounding – and classy” name, and would give the Puget Sound another city with a melodic sounding name!
