It seems that I see more and more little white crosses set up alongside the roads of our county marking the many sites of fatal traffic accidents. I can only imagine how many little white crosses there would be if we put one up for every fatal accident that occurred on our roads.
How many crosses would there be if we had special ones that signified another young driver or passenger who died in an auto accident? I think the amount of crosses we had to put up would be quite an eye opener.
I have two children of my own who will be learning to drive in the next few years. I will try to teach them that there can be some very serious consequences for operating an auto in an unsafe or careless manner. Driving a car can be dangerous to your health.
I don’t want to ever have to put up a cross for one of my children or their friends. Teach your children the hazards of driving. We don’t need any more little white crosses.
