I totally agree with the Wednesday letter, “Domestic partner bills need election.” I really don’t think it is right for Olympia to just make and pass the gay rights and marriage bills like they do! You see what happened in California when citizens had a say and voted on this important issue.
Lawmakers pat themselves on the back, passing these issues for a few political votes. They don’t want the people to vote on these issues because they know they will never pass.
