Now that the United States of America has chosen George W. Bush as president I feel it is time for all of us to speak up for what we believe in. I think Bush is making very wrong decisions about the laws.
Bush is against gay marriage. How could the president of the United States of America say that? In the Pledge of Allegiance the last six words are “…with liberty and justice for all.” “For all” is what is says, so why is our president not giving the right for gay marriage? In America we have civil rights. That means civil marriage. We have equal rights, correct? Wrong! If gay marriage is going to stay how it already is, how much farther will America fall? I hope every person in America will think about this and how much this means in American history. I am 11 years old, but I care about the people out there because this law is seizing their rights. I can’t imagine how they feel.
