Getting rid of the gazebo at Clark Park, what a shame (“’Too much Everett to throw away’? Gazebo’s impending end stirs emotions,” The Herald, Feb. 22).
As long as it’s been there, it’s part of Everett history. What is it hurting to leave it?
Everett seems to be good at getting rid of things. About 35 years ago we paid $80 for a brick in front of the Village Theatre downtown. Then the bricks disappeared under concrete or asphalt.
