I am writing in support of Melody Clemans’ re-election to the Snohomish City Council.
Melody has served the city of Snohomish diligently for the past four years.
She rarely misses a council meeting and takes an active interest in the important issues that affect our city.
The most important issue, in my mind, has been the expansion of Harvey Airfield. I agree with Melody’s stance against the Harvey Airport expansion because it would unfairly burden taxpayers while benefiting a private company. Expansion of the airport would also impact flooding, potentially causing damage to the city. Lastly, expansion of the airport would mean increased noise and lower property values for residents. All these things are important to me as a citizen of Snohomish.
Our city needs council members who put the needs of the citizens ahead of the needs of special interests and developers. Protect our homes, protect our lifestyle, protect Snohomish. Re-elect Melody Clemans in November.
