There are rumors that if Hillary is elected president, she’ll appoint Bill to be her “roving smbassador of good will,” a typical responsibility for a vice president. It undoubtedly means he would “take care of” visiting or visited heads of state – and their wives. Oh-oh. Is that what we really want?
On the other hand, maybe it would be perfectly appropriate given America’s preoccupation with Viagra, Cialis, Levitra and similar “symbols” of our current culture. We can’t seem to watch half an hour of TV without seeing half a dozen ads for these “cure-alls.” It looks like this country is dysfunctional – in more than one way. No wonder we’ve become such a “paper tiger.”
