In reference to the Friday article, “WSU gives Bennett a raise to $1 million per year.”
It seems ridiculous that in a time of tight budgets and with difficulty in finding the funds to support higher education state universities are paying basketball coaches a million dollars or more.
Since obviously there is such a surplus of money in the public education system to allow this, we apparently as taxpayers should look into cutting funding to those schools. This is not where I want my tax dollars going.
