As the present chair of Tobacco Free Snohomish County Coalition, I was ecstatic to read your recent article on the decline in teenage smoking (“More teens turning away from smoking,” Oct. 5).
Recently I gave a presentation to a group of high school students who were attending a program called TATU (Teen Awareness of Tobacco Use). I displayed more than 20 human body organs, to show kids the real inside story when using any tobacco products.
We in the coalition will continue to fight the battle against the tobacco industry, and will continue to watch those numbers decline.
Many thanks for the information.
Chair
Tobacco Free Snohomish County Coalition.
