We would like to commendthe people of Naval Station Everett for their courtesy, professionalism and security as they opened their base to the public to view Everett’s July 4th fireworks display. Although the fireworks display was grossly delayed, the base staff responded in a very patient and courteous manner. Thank you to all the Naval and DOD personnel involved in accommodating the public. The diligence, professionalism and countless sacrifices of our military personnel both here and abroad preserve the many freedoms so many of us take for granted.
