For whatever reasons, have you had to change your mailing address?
We have. And I just want to say, I’m trying!
It used to be that the paper statements you got in the mail had some way to indicate an address change. You know, check the box on the front, write in the new address on the back.
In this day of modern inconveniences just a few still do that it seems. Instead, the statements have 3, 4, 5 phone numbers for you to call for this, that or whatever. (Yeah, just what I want to do, sit on the phone listening to music and promos.) Or, they want you to go online. Oh yeah! Good luck finding anywhere on their screens indicating how to do a simple address change. (And, of course you have to open an account with a user name and password so they and others can flood you with more spam!)
Some installations (banks, etc.) seem to be so large various departments have their own mailing lists. I put in a change, but still get some mail with new address and some with old address.
So, thank you Post Office for getting our mail to us, no matter which address is on it.
Just want you know, I’m trying! I’m trying!
