Why is it that during a time when the U.S. should stick together, Boeing is determined to find cheap labor outside of our country? Do the words “made in America” mean anything? Isn’t Boeing an American company? Why can’t they let Americans build planes in the US? Are they too greedy?
Look at the wages, bonuses, and retirement plan that the executives at Boeing enjoy. The workers at Boeing should be treated fairly. Job security is very important. After the tragedy of Sept. 11, the nation saw an outpouring of emotions – anguish for those who lost loved ones, sympathy for those who lost lives, anger and fear that terrorism hit us at home, but also pride in our great country! Patriotism again surged throughout this nation.
Why, when so many Americans are trying to piece together our nation, do so many companies rip at our hearts and steal so much? Big corporations filing bankruptcy, moving U.S. jobs overseas. Shouldn’t we, as Americans, demand that companies in America keep jobs in America?
Made in America should mean something. Let us all show our pride in America.
Boeing, you are being challenged. Show your pride in America. Keep our jobs here.
