Congress shouldn’t take August break

I have a question for the readers of this paper: Are you being hurt by the oil crisis?

Why would our Congress decide to adjourn for the month of August, while this crisis continues. And Rep. Rick Larsen (D-Wash.) supports this time off. Reminds me of guy named Nero who went and played his fiddle while Rome burned to the ground.

Members of Congress should work for their salary — either that or resign so someone with leadership skills can take their place!
