Are all Republicans as ignorant to the major facts as Bush or do some have at least a small degree of intellect present? I am just curious as to why our president cannot see outside of corporate pockets into the reality of the ongoing energy crisis. Spending less than a quarter of the proposed energy bill on conservation and renewable energy sources shows that another conservative in power has no futuristic outlook. Just another example of money-entwined politicians passing the buck to future generations.
The truth of the situation is that we now must start progressively developing new sources of energy that are clean and unlimited. Why sidestep the inevitable now to destroy our last natural state? We must change our energy policies now, while there is still time to expand our research on clean and recyclable energy sources.
