There seems to be a common idealism that education is important to bringing America back to economic success. I have seen this through the votes of the people, the comments from elected officials and the media. My point is there should be no more cuts to public education, which is the cornerstone of our democracy and society.
Now, more than ever, you need to place value and support toward the professionals that perform this duty. This is not the time to create more bureaucracy by supporting SB 6442, the state health-care takeover bill. This bill will cost the state $45 million to set up. This bill specifically targets public educators and gives fewer choices at higher costs.
This is another cut to public educators by increasing our expenses. Public educators are a valuable segment of every community in the state. Our pay goes back into the local economy. Please do not support any program that includes further cuts to public educational professionals. Say no to SB 6442.
