Couldn’t we truck nuclear waste to Nevada?

I agree with a recent letter to the editor about need for nuclear power. May I suggest Elko, Nev., for storage of nuclear waste! Have you been there? Hundreds of miles of nothing but dirt and very few people north and east of town. We could store a lot of waste out there at no risk to anything but jack rabbits. I hope our governor reads this!
