Council members are unresponsive

I’m not satisfied the way the Snohomish County Council is handling matters. They permit real estate assessments galloping more than the rate of inflation. When I try to talk to a County Council member, the secretary says the person is “in conference” and don’t return my call. Gary Nelson, as council chairman, draws a salary of $95,385.96, plus benefits, plus an increase in the wings for the elected members in November.

It is also a time to review and audit people who are drawing welfare. I’m sure there are some who are able-bodied and can get a job.
