I am so grateful that we have Councilmember Nate Nehring representing us on the Snohomish County Council. There is no greater responsibility for local government than keeping the public safe, and Nate has clearly demonstrated his understanding of this.
Even when the political winds were blowing in the direction of defunding law enforcement, Nehring stood strong and worked with others to make sure that county law enforcement got increased resources to deal with the many challenges they face. His work to fund and advance programs that offer real and compassionate help to those in need while arresting those who refuse help and continue to commit crimes is an example that should be replicated all across our state. I’m proud to support Nate Nehring for re-election.
