Please join me in supporting Cecilia Wilson for Snohomish County Council, District 2. There isn’t another candidate as exquisitely prepared as Cecilia, between her years of service and the positions she’s held. Her career has been remarkably solid and consistent, with a high level of ethics, principles and honesty.
Cecilia is the only candidate that truly knows the territory and responsibilities that come with a position on the County Council. Snohomish County’s leadership has major decisions to make in the next several years that will determine what direction the county will take. There isn’t going to be another county as busy as Snohomish County in the coming years and we need leaders of substance, stature and honesty, like Cecilia.
Beyond her obvious preparation, Cecilia has an immense amount of compassion, which will serve the County Council well while addressing the challenges facing our community. She carries a torch for human services and ensuring that we are serving all members of our community, including our most vulnerable populations. She is willing to do the hard work and get results for our community, not in her own self-interest but because she’s passionate about making our residents’ lives better.
Snohomish County has an extraordinarily bright future, and reflecting on this race for Snohomish County Council, it’s about how people who serve a community treat those who need help. Cecilia is the right candidate for the job and deserves your vote.
