On Nov. 20 at 7:40 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 9 and 108th NE, there was a horrendous accident involving our daughter-in-law and twin grandsons. From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank all of you who were there to assist and who prayed for their safety. Also, we want to extend a special thank you to the person or persons who stopped and broke the glass out to release the smoke that filled the vehicle. You showed tremendous courage and quick thinking when you disconnected the battery while the dump truck was still on top of them. We are so grateful for the lives of our loved ones, and we appreciate all of you who helped to keep them here with us. To the community, all of your prayers saved our precious family. Our grandsons came out untouched and our daughter-in-law is recovering. We’re hopeful to even have her home for Christmas.
Again, thank you to everyone: the State Patrol, medics, fire department and the heroes unknown. They all survived because you helped. God heard our prayers. God bless you all.
