I was amused to no end at Bill Cooper’s letter, “Columnist’s swipe was unprofessional.” As the chairman of the Snohomish County Republican Party, he wallows in superficial, laugh-out-loud victimhood over criticism of conservative Larry Stickney in a column by Jerry Cornfield. He claims Cornfield is a liberal. It’s funny that liberals like myself are unable to perceive the advantage conferred on us by Cornfield.
After assigning Cornfield a hair shirt he then turns around and uses the term “Democrat” instead of “Democratic” in reference to actions of the Democratic Party. You see, polling shows that the term “Democrat” sounds more negative. Picture, if you will, the circus where one elephant grabs the tail of the one in front in daisy chain fashion. That’s Bill Cooper grabbing the talking points of the Republicon above him.
