Criticism to be made, but come on

Regarding the Tuesday letter, “Hope, change off to horrible start”:

How do you respond to an individual who forgets that it was Bush’s running this country’s economy into the ground for the Israelis and the Saudis that has created this? How do you respond to someone with the attention span of one week?

That Bush committed felonies while in office is irrefutable. That every executive order Bush signed was therefore illegal and should be stricken from the books also seems a logical course of action. One, or one hundred, it doesn’t matter. They are clear-cut felonies. Giving “no-bid” contracts, torture, lies, committing our army for Israel’s gain, to mention only a small few.

If you must denigrate Obama, then do so for the meaningful things he’s done: his voting record on the Patriot Act and subsequent amendments. His votes on the “bailouts,” which have devaluated our dollar, and his plan for more which will only continue to do so. His lack of planning to get jobs back and rebuild our status as a world leader. His questionable appointments. His sudden lack of a plan for withdrawal from Iraq and (to appeal to this person’s sense of morals) the amount of money it’s costing us, not to mention the lives lost. His plan for an Afghan buildup and resurgence (more loans). His plan for a private army of paid informants. His plans for forced conscription based on the Israeli plan.

But, instead, this attack on what this man has or hasn’t done in a week! This argument is inane. This guy’s brainwashing seems complete.
