I recently read a letter to the editor about Sen. Mary Margaret Haugen. The negative part of it talked about how she was not for the people. I want to comment on Sen. Hauguen’s compassion and assistance with a bill I wanted to get passed. She did not ask me what political party I was with. She helped me with the bill. She helps the everyday person.
I consider myself a Republican but I will vote for her because she stands for the people and helps the people no matter what their political party, race, creed or income status is. Jeralita Costa was the one who followed up after Sen. Haugen started helping me. So, I think before the letter writer starts talking negatively about Sen. Haugen not helping everyday citizens, she should first find out the facts.
