My daughter and I went to lunch at Denny’s on 128th S.W., next to the freeway entrance on April 19.
After eating nearly all of my lunch, I realized there was a main ingredient missing. Since it was delicious and I obviously enjoyed it, I was not complaining, but mentioned it to our server so he could inform the cook. As we finished our lunches, the manager came to our table and sat down. She said she’d heard about the mistake and explained how it may have happened and offered to pay for my lunch. I said that wasn’t necessary. The meal was very good and I expected to pay for it, but thanked her and the very nice young man who was our server.
When we went to pay our bill, we were told the manager had taken care of mine. I’m sorry I didn’t get the manager or server’s names, but kudos to them both. We will definitely go to that Denny’s again.
