Our fire district is already thought of as one of the best in the state. Dan Johnson, along with two other fire commissioners, has guided our fire district during a time when we have had great growth in population, staff and equipment – all without expanding taxes, levies or bonds. We are one of the few districts that doesn’t charge our district taxpayers for transport and care in our ambulances.
What does a fire commissioner do? They are the policy makers, responsible for hiring and firing, approval of the annual budget and monthly bills, and they develop the vision for the future of our district.
Dan Johnson is the person we need to continue to maintain our excellent and effective fire district.
We strongly urge you to vote to re-elect Dan Johnson for the Fire District 8 commissioner position. His record speaks for itself.
